Fear

Fear isn’t meant to be slain or ignored. It’s meant to be courted like a dangerous lover. You don’t shrink from it; you shake its hand firmly, look it in the eyes, and say, “Let’s dance.”
That’s when fear becomes fuel.

Fear is one of the most misunderstood forces in life. Most people treat it like a disease to be cured or an enemy to be destroyed. But fear is not your enemy — it’s a messenger. It signals that you are standing at the threshold of growth, standing before a door that only the brave dare open.

When you try to silence fear, you silence the part of yourself that wants to expand. You shrink. You play small.

But when you court fear like a dangerous lover — you acknowledge its power. You respect it. You flirt with it. You feel its electricity in your veins and let it awaken you rather than paralyze you.

You don’t run. You don’t pretend you’re fearless (that’s just arrogance or self-delusion). Instead, you say, “I see you. You can ride along, but I’m still driving.”

When you do that, fear transforms. It becomes adrenaline sharpening your senses. It becomes focus. It becomes a hidden ally pushing you into the arena while everyone else is stuck in the stands, wondering “what if.”

By dancing with fear, you unlock boldness. And boldness opens all doors. The universe steps aside for the person who refuses to stop.

So next time fear knocks, invite it in. Pour it a drink. Ask it to dance. Then watch how much bigger your world becomes.

  1. Here is my suggestion. Think of this fear not as the King Kong of bogeymen,
but as a mare. A nightmare. A mare, after all, is a horse. A horse can be tamed,
bridled, saddled, harnessed and (eventually) ridden. Harnessing the power of
such a creature adds mightily to your own. Thus the nightmare of prospective
failure provides you with the very opportunity you are seeking. Not only does it
restrain smarter people than yourself from becoming rich – and there can only be
so many rich people in the world – it affords you the chance of increasing your
confidence, both when you confront it and when you master it
